Episodic heartburn is caused by dietary errors or bad habits. The combination of a symptom with belching, abdominal pain, stool disorders indicates a pathology of the gastrointestinal tract. To identify the cause of burning, endoscopic and radiological methods, examination of the ENT organs are used. To reduce the severity of the symptom, antacids, prokinetics, antisecretory drugs are used.
