Diarrhea in a child can be caused by physiological factors (malnutrition, stress) or pathological causes, which include intestinal infections, food allergies, inflammatory and drug-induced damage to the intestines. Mushy stools are softening of stools that look like separate soft pieces or a heterogeneous liquid mass. The symptom is often accompanied by abdominal pain, nausea and vomiting, flatulence. To normalize the stool, enzymes, probiotics, antibacterial agents are used.
